Our Fees

GILBERTSON INVESTIGATIONS trades our time, training, education, and experience for a fee. Our services are negotiable on a "case-by-case" basis. We consider the complexity of your case, the risk involved, and travel expenses in determining your fee.

However, GILBERTSON INVESTIGATIONS does employ a standard rate of $80.00 per hour with a five-hour and $400 minimum fee for all casework.

Our Seattle area private investigators represent an exceptionally high level of education, training, and law enforcement experience. Our backgrounds give us superior credibility and insight with police, prosecutors, judges, and jurors.  

Law firms placing GILBERTSON INVESTIGATIONS on retainer receive reduced rates for ongoing services. Persons with an attorney, but unable to afford a private investigator, may find the following provision helpful.

Washington Court Rules 2006, Rules for the Superior Court, Paragraph 3.1, Rights of the Defendants, Services Other Than a Lawyer, (1)

"A lawyer for a defendant who is financially unable to obtain investigative, expert, or other services necessary to an adequate defense in the case may request them in a motion to the court."
